Committees
Deacons - the general overseers of the spiritual life of the Church; provide ministry to Church membership; assist the Pastor in the performance of his/her duties; prepare and assist in the ordinance of the Lord’s Supper.
Board of Christian Education - oversees the educational ministry of the congregation;
Flower Committee - responsible for floral decorations for worship and special occasions.
Music Committee - coordinate the musical ministry of the church
Pastoral Relations Committee - serves as advocate and advisor to the Pastor and liaison for the Congregation.Community Outreach Committee - shares the love of Christ through active visitation and participation in local mission and service opportunities; develop and implement strategies to help the congregation grow through new membership; support and encourage absent members and friends, shut-ins, ill members and friends, and those members and friends in college and military service; encourage participation by the congregation in these responsibilities.
Missions Committee - share the Gospel by supporting, financially and spiritually, American Baptist missions and missionaries and other organizations, such as the Council of Churches.
